2017 Bowling Green Veterans Parade - Honoring Veterans and Their Spouses

The 17th annual Bowling Green Veterans Parade will be held on November 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM.  This year’s honored Grand Marshal is J.D. Williams and his wife Ashlee.

During his second tour of duty in Afghanistan on October 9, 2010, Army SGT Jack Williams stepped on an IED causing him to become a triple amputee, losing both legs and an arm.  J.D. and Ashlee are an inspiration to all who meet them.  Please join us this year as we honor those that serve both at  home and abroad.

http://www.missionimpossibleky.com

The Kentucky Wounded Heroes would like to invite volunteers OR those with children 6th-12th grade to come out and take part in this event in Georgetown, KY. This is a fun and exciting FREE event for the entire family!
Mission Impossible is a challenging 8 acre obstacle course. The course is designed to foster teamwork and encourage each participant to develop a “self-less” attitude about everything they do in life, modeled after the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 20:28. The event will include teams of Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement and current/former military veterans and ROTC Cadets who will serve as the “opposing forces” to eliminate and capture the participants as they proceed through the course. Get caught and spend time in the “POW” camp! Watch out for constant “Air Raids!” Beware of Snipers! Get extra points for rescuing a captured pilot.

This event is completely FREE!
