We have been notified that a group in North Carolina has a fully trained German Shepherd service dog they want to donate to a qualified individual. The selected person must be a Purple Heart recipient and determined to be in need of a service dog. Applicants must provide a copy of the medical recommendation for a service dog, and a copy of their Purple Heart documentation. Those interested can contact Chuck Reed at 502.235.4262. Selection will be by the group donating the dog.
